Matt Capps pounded the zone as he closed out the Bucs 6-4 win against the Astros.  Capps recorded his 13th save on the season.  He threw eleven pitches, only one was his slider.  His fastball averaged 94.6 mph.

Pedro Alvarez hit the game winning home run for Lynchburg, his tenth of the year over the center field wall.  He was 2-for-3 with his tenth double as well.  His OPS is .805

The 36-18 Hillcats are pitching very well.  They won the game 1-0 with Ronald Uviedo, Micahel Dubee (great pickup NH), and RJ Rodriguez shutting down Wilmington.  The staff has a 3.80 ERA (Second of the eight teams in the Carolina League), 1.28 WHIP and 126 BB (leads the league), 354K (seventh).   [Hillcats]
