Lynchburg Lemonade for Everyone! Cats One Win Away from Title

The Hillcats are streaking! A run in the eighth tied the game and one in the bottom of the ninth won it as the Cats jump out to a 2-0 lead in the Mills Cup Championship. Chase D’Arnaud worked a leadoff walk in the eighth and would score on a bases loaded walk to Jamie Romak.
With the score knotted at 4-4 and down to the last out in the ninth, series hero Jose De Los Santos ripped a homer into the left-field seats to end it and send the Lynchburg faithful into hysteria.
P.S. It was De Lo’s first homer of the year. Muhahahahahaha! God I hate the Red Sox.
The Cats can close out the series in Salem Thursday night when LHP Jeff Locke heads to the bump for Lynchburg.
