Will Charlie Morton Leave the Pirates?

Posted by: Shaftie

So…..I am cruising the Braves blogs, and come across this link to Charlie Morton’s My Space Music page. The following quote was mentioned:

In my opinion, he’s got some really good raw talent there. It’s not perfect, but it’s nice and with some more practice, he could have a song or two on the radio. :) It’s very “white boy with a big heart and a guitar” — think early John Mayer or a more chill version of Jack Johnson (if you can imagine a more chill version, haha).

Hmmmm  Now I am wondering what is the real story here?  Charlie Morton is a musician too?  A quick search finds Bucco Forum is talking about it as well.

Well, Bucco fans it’s true.  We have another musician on the team.  Slide over Lastings Milledge.  Make room for the new John Mayer?   What do you ladies think??  The Georgia Peaches sure are hot on the right hander!

Click the link to listen and I am a little worried, the talent laden pitcher could leave baseball behind for good.

Thanks for the mention. I still keep up with Charlie when I can — we really liked him in Atlanta!
