Ross Ohlendorf will be making his second appearance of the spring.  He pitched one perfect inning against the Yankees.

Also expected to pitch is Chris Jakubauskas, Vinnie Chulk, Virgil Vasquez, Ramon Aguero, and Anthony ClaggettJustin Thomas appeared on the Pirates press pass notes, but since he pitched yesterday in relief of Kevin Hart, we doubt we will see him today.

The Pirates have homered in three straight games.  Andy LaRoche, Tony Sanchez, and Ryan Church.

The Bucs face LHP Brian Duensing today, bet you didn’t know he was a blogger.  A link to his blog during the 2008  Team USA’s bronze medal run at the Olympics is here.

The Bucs will appear on MLB Network tonight at 5pm and 10pm for the 30 clubs in 30 days show.

Ian Snell spoke about the grey hairs picking on him at Bradenton Spring Training.

"“You’d need earmuffs,” Snell said. “It came from your own fans. It’s pretty crazy. But it’s a real good atmosphere here and I’m enjoying it a lot. Here, they want you to stay healthy and give your best. When you give your best, they cheer for you.”Snell gave up three hits and one earned run in the Mariners’ 7-4 victory over the Padres, throwing 20 strikes among his 29 pitches"

Really Ian?  Ear muffs?  We distinctly remember this discussion about slow pitch church softball  at spring training last year.   I don’t recall heckling.
