The Pirates continue to ensure PNC Park is the Best Ballpark in America. The team has made the following enhancements to improve fan experience and value offerings during the 2010 season.   Here are the enhancements:

*Bill Mazeroski Statue– At PirateFest, the Pirates announced the plans for,and unveiled the likeness of, Mazs’ statue.  It will be erected at PNC Park this summer in conjuction with the 50th anniversary of the Pirates 1960 World Championship season. We heard from Bob Toth, Golf4Maz chairman, that the statue is underway. Local artist Susan Wagner has been commissioned to sculpt the statue as she did for Willie Stargell and Roberto Clemente.  If you want to get involved, you can purchase a cast aluminum ivy leaf which will be permanently installed along the Forbes Field wall brick backdrop. Also the design includes eight Gold Glove Awards that donors can engrave with special messages. Call 1-877-MAZ-1960 for more information.

*Club Cambria is a new all-inclusive club on the suite level of PNC Park. Club Cambria is on the third base side of the park. It’s sweet. Full bar, flat screens, private restrooms and concierge.
Season ticket packages include your seat, nightly chef’s stations, desserts, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.  The seats in the first two rows of Club Cambria are nicer than the seats in your car.  Unbelievably comfortable.

*Majestic Clubhouse Store– The newly branded Majestic Clubhouse Store will be open with expanded merchandise offerings for the 2010 season, including new Majestic authentic swag for you to pick up.

*Bleacher Backs– If you sit in the Right Field Bleacher section you will press your back on some newly painted seats.

*Security Texts–You can know NARC out the drunks by anonymously sending a text to PNC Park Security.  Fans are being encouraged to text SECURITY to 61592.  Appropriate personnel will be dispatched to the location to respond to the request.

*Kids’ Priced Tickets— Kids 14 and younger can purchase a ticket at $6 off the regular price in select areas of PNC Park with the purchase of a regularly priced ticket in the same section.  Kids will get an Infield Grandstand ticket for $10, Bleacher Reserved ticket for $8 and L/R Grandstand for just $6.

*Buc Night, PNC Check Card Games, Giant Eagle Advantage Card Games and Value Season Ticket Plans are also modified and available.  Buc Night begins Wednesday night, April 7 when the Bucs offer $1 hot dogs, popcorn and Pepsi products to all fans.

*New Food and Beverage Choices–Boneless wings from Quaker Steak & Lube in the Smorgasburgh secgtion 109 and the upper concourse section 322.

Craft beers are available at Beers of the Burgh, Pub 475, and select Allegheny Beverage portables will serve more craft beers such as Woodchuck Cider, Erie Railbender, Dogfish Head, and Church Brew Works items.

Milkshakes will be available at Federal St. Grille sections 115 and 310.  North Shore Refreshment sections 123 and 135.

Trib Total Media Hall of Fame Club has Magic Hat #9, Elliot Ness, Troegs, Victory Prima Pilsner, Brookly Pale Ale, and Fat Gary’s Nut Brown Ale.  Some menu items which sound tantalizing are Wild Pacific Salmon Cedar, Chicken Cacciatore, and Seared Ahi Tuna.
