Milledge Will Leadoff Against the Dodgers

Pittsburgh Pirate Manager John Russell continues to experiment with the batting order.  LF Lastings Milledge will bat leadoff against the Dodgers and LHP Clayton Kershaw in windy LA tonight. It will be difficult for Dodgers hitters to get anything deep into left field due to the stiff wind which will help Pirates LHP Brian Burres.

Milledge is followed by white hot 3B Andy LaRoche.

Andrew McCutchen will be in the three hole for the second straight game.  McCutchen has a five game hitting streak, was 4-for-13 against LA in the season opening series.  Cutch is batting .423 against left handers this season.   Jeff Clement will get the start and has two homeruns in his past six games.

The Dodgers have lost four games in a row being outscored 22-8 during the losing streak.   The pitching staff is 13th in the NL in ERA.
