All Eyes On Pirates Pitchers–A Photo Recap

The Pittsburgh Pirates

pitching staff played in a can’t win game yesterday.  Clint Hurdle said after that game, ‘that’s a tough game to play.’  It might get tougher today in Port Charlotte against the Tampa Bay Rays.

But all in all yesterday, it’s hard to imagine anything going much better. Seven innings. Four hits allowed. Thirteen strikeouts.   If it wasn’t a damn exhibition we could be celebrating.

Bring on Manny, Johnny and the boys.

Charlie Morton will get the start against the Rays today and is scheduled to throw two innings.  Brad Lincoln will follow and is also planned for two.  The two fifth-starter hopefuls will be followed by Chris Resop, Dan Moskos, and Daniel McCutchen.

We are leaving before we anticipate the Pirates lineup being announced.  Twitter will be the best way to check out the action.
