Struggling Andrew Lambo Gets A View From The AAA Bench

The Pittsburgh Pirates are working to help correct some flaws with Andrew Lambo.  He isn’t hurt, but Lambo hasn’t played since May 22.  Jennifer Langosch reported on the situation today getting a quote from Kyle Stark.

"“We’re continuing to help him make some adjustments to the Triple-A level and picking our spots to help him make those adjustments rather than just competing in games,” Stark said."

This isn’t good news for Pirates fans.  Lambo is having one of the worst slumps of his career.  Lambo is hitting at a .212/.290/336 clip.  After 41 games, he has just three bombs with his last one on May 14 against Columbus.  He has five hits in his last 31 at-bats.

The decision is pretty easy for a surging Indians club that can pop John Bowker and Alex Presley into the corner outfield position as both are murdering baseballs.
