Charlie Morton, Pirates Look to Fire Up Your Fourth of July

With most of Pittsburgh recovering

from Jagr Watch, the Pittsburgh Pirates look to get your holiday weekend started right tonight in DC. Charlie Morton will be headed to the bump for the first time in 11 days.

A dud from Morton tonight would be a tough blow for the spirit of Pirates fans. Morton hasn’t went six innings in his last three appearances.

The Nats will send Tom Gorzelanny to the mound at the worlds most boring ballyard, Nats Park. Gorzelanny has been pretty awful in his last three outings in which he has pitched 16.2 innings.

The lefty did well against the White Sox last time out, but that was the bright spot as Gorzo has a 5.94 ERA in those three outings. For the season he is 2-6 with a 4.18ERA.

We believe in Charlie Morton.

We predict this will happen tonight.

It looks like their was a recent sighting in London. You be the judge. The Pirates will keep rolling in DC tonight.
