The Big Pittsburgh Pirates Homestand Continues Against L.A. Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Pittsburgh Pirates are both fighting for their respective division titles.  If that shouldn’t work out for either team, the wild-card race could be in reach for either team making these four games at PNC Park even that more difficult.

The Dodgers swept the Bucs back in April.  It sucked.  We were there.  Neil Walker was hitless in the series.  The Blue are an even better team right now.  They picked up Hanley Ramirez and he has six hits and a gaudy 17 RBI thanks to the Dodgers top of the order reaching base in frot of the Hemi-powered HRam

Bes sure to keep an eye on #Always Smooth Clint Barmes who is 4-for-9 off L.A. starter Aaron Harang tonight.   MVP candidate Andrew McCutchen, who has the batting title lead with a .362 average, has two hits in nine at bats against Harang.

Jeff Karstens has a sparkling home ERA at 1.33.  Karstens lost his outing against the Dodgers back in April.  Against the Zombie keep an eye on James Loney and Matt Kemp.  They’ve hit him very well.  But the Zombie is due for a strong outing in his rather up and down season.

The Dodgers have won 12 of their past 14 against the Bucs.
