The Pittsburgh Pirates will be on national television a lot more in 2013 according to today’s announcement by FOX Sports. The new schedule will include the first-ever games on the FOX Sports 1 Network and the Bucs will play six nationally covered games before the calendar turns to June.
The national baseball schedule includes seven Pirates games during the 2014 season. Two of those games will be held at PNC Park, so wear your clean underwear Pittsburgh. Also, ESPN will be in to cover the Pirates on Opening Day (which will also be on ROOT for those not able to attend) ESPN will return again on Mothers Day for Sunday Night Baseball.
Locally the games on Fox Sports 1 will be able to be viewed on ROOT Sports. Games on FOX can be seen by enjoyed if you log on to MLB.TV.
