Pittsburgh Pirates and The Agents Who Represent Them

So much discussion is being had about locking up young talent around Major League Baseball, so we felt we were overdue for an update on the agents and agencies that represent some of the Pittsburgh Pirates players.   Many readers have much more of an interest in sports agencies than we do, so for those of you into this sort of thing, we give you what you have been asking for all along.

Furthermore, some great information is available on Sports Agent Blog.  The work on their site is very interesting including their interviews with countless agents in the business.  Check out  Twitter where you can find numerous agents and their agencies-like Jet Sports Management who just assisted in getting Charlie Morton locked up to a deal with the Bucs

The Pirates have had some difficulties over the years with getting players signed.  Pedro Alvarez and The Boras Corporation was the most notable.  The buzz around that situation was especially delicate.  Another challenge for the Pirates, was how the team missed out on Miguel Sano who is now represented by Beverly Hills Sports Council.  The Sano case was insanely interesting to us because we were live on Dejan Kovacevic’s blog while it was all going down and Sano’s representative was also on the site.
