Preview: Greg Brown joins Rum Bunter Radio

It all started with an innocent-looking tweet:

Could it be?  Could Greg Brown, he of the “RAISE THE JOLLY ROGER” fame be joining twitter?  Would we finally be able to satisfy our winter thirst for Pirates baseball by reading his tweets and hearing his voice say the words?  What an irreverent twitter handle!  Look at the wordplay!  He’s as great with the written word as he is with the spoken variety.  Soon thereafter, @gbrowniepoints was verified.  There was much rejoicing.

So who better to be our first guest on the upcoming Rum Bunter Radio podcast than Greg Brown?  Rum Bunter Radio will be a weekly recap of all things Rum Bunter.  In each installment, you’ll get to know us, we’ll get to know you, and we’ll see where this goes.  We’ll be going in depth on some of the pieces that featured here on the previous week, and hopefully leave you entertained and energized about Pirates baseball.  The podcast will be available on iTunes, Stitcher, Soundcloud, and of course right here at your favorite Pirates blog.
