Double-A Altoona Curve
The Altoona Curve went 5-1 over the last week. This included a three-game sweep of the New Britain Rock Cats in Altoona. So far, the Curve has won two of three over the Erie SeaWolves with one game remaining in the series.
Eastern League Western Division standings:
Altoona Curve – 33-21
Bowie Baysox – 31-25
Richmond Flying Squirrels – 28-26

Players that stood out:
Willy Garcia extended his hitting streak to 12 games Sunday. He went 10 for 25 with three home runs, six RBIs, and scored six runs. He is now batting .310 for the season.
Josh Bell saw his average drop slightly over the past week to .332 while collecting six hits and three RBIs. Josh also hit his second home run of the season on Saturday.
Max Moroff saw his average drop slightly to .307.
Stetson Allie only managed one hit and saw his average drop to .200.
Adam Frazier only had eight at-bats but managed managed hits. He is now hitting .333.
Jose Osuna had 20 at-bats and eight hits. He is batting .407 since being called up.
Jason Creasy picked up his team-leading seventh win of the season.
Angel Sanchez collected his sixth win of the year.
Chad Kuhl leads the team with 45 Ks. His record sits at 4-2 after going 1-1 over the past week and striking out 11.
Yhonathan Barrios picked up his team leading 10th save.
Injury report:
Tyler Glasnow remains on the Disabled List with a sprained right ankle.
Tyler Glasnow no longer wearing walking boot on right foot. Wore it for two weeks because of ankle. Still not sure when he will pitch next.

A look at next week:
The Curve wrap up the weekend series with the Erie SeaWolves on Monday. Then, they head to Reading to face the Fightin’ Phils in a three-game series. The Curve then head home for a three-game weekend home stand against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
