Advanced A Bradenton Marauders

The Bradenton Marauders went 4-1 over the past week. The Marauders split the final two games of the series with the Palm Beach Cardinals.  The four game home series against the Dunedin Blue Jays resulted in two wins. The third game on Friday was tied 1-1 when it was halted by rain. Then on Saturday the tie game was supposed to be finished before Saturday’s scheduled game but both were rained out. The game from Friday will remain a tie and will not be finished. Saturday’s game will be rescheduled. On Sunday, the Marauders picked up a win over the Clearwater Threshers.

As the Marauders begin the second half of the season, the standings are reset. The Charlotte Stone Crabs were the first half division winner. The second half division winner will face the Stone Crabs in the playoffs. If the Stone Crabs win the second half, then the team with the second best overall record will advance to face the Stone Crabs. More information on the playoff procedures can be found here. We will provide you the second half standings along with the overall standings in parenthesis.
