The Pittsburgh Pirates series against the Washington Nationals was important for a variety of reasons. One, the team needed a bounce back series win after two losses against the Brewers and Royals, two, it was at home in front of huge crowds, and you never want to disappoint the home fans. The Pirates took three out of the four games and looked pretty good doing it. The Pirates then turned their attention to the second place, Minnesota Twins. The Pirates looked for a little revenge against Minnesota as in Maym the Twins came into PNC Park and swept both games. Would the Pirates be able to successfully get their revenge on the surprising Twins?
