The Pittsburgh Pirates lost game one of the Dodgers series but rebounded to win the second two and take the series. The Pirates have done remarkably well against the National League West in 2015 and they went from the first place team in the West to the last place team as they went to Colorado for four games against the Rockies.

The Rockies have been pretty bad for most the season, but they are a very talented offensive team so it is imperative to limit the damage against them, especially in Coors Field as humidor or no humidor, it is still one of the best offensive ballparks in the league.

The Pirates are one of the best teams in the league and they have to take advantage when they play a struggling team like the Rockies. We’re the Pirates able to pad their stats against a rebuilding ball club?

The Pirates looked to a Dark Knight to open the series and start the Bucs off with a win.
