Fresh off the first win of the 2016 Grapefruit season, the Pirates head back to Bradenton where they will play Detroit again. The Tigers will use a split squad for the game.

The Bucs will send Jeff Locke to the mound for his first spring training outing. Detroit counters with prospect Buck Farmer.

Pittsburgh defeated Detroit yesterday 4-2 with home runs coming from starters Francisco Cervelli and Jordy Mercer. Pirates prospects Alen Hanson and Elias Diaz had a hand in the other two runs that ended up being the game-winners.

Pirates also got decent pitching outings from everyone except Rob Scahill who gave up a two-run home run to Victor Martinez.

Starting lineups and live comments will be posted later today.
