The Pittsburgh Pirates rely heavily on the prospects in their farm system to eventually become MLB players.  Here are their highest rated prospects.

Every year, Pittsburgh Pirates fans look to MLB Pipeline to see where some of the team’s top prospects rank on their semi-annual Top 100 Prospect list.  Well, it is that time of the year again, and on Saturday the guys at MLB Pipeline took to national TV on the MLB Network to reveal their Top 100 Prospect list for the 2019 season.  This list will stay this way until mid-July when the draft process is complete.

MLB Pipeline is one of the best-scouting sites available for people to freely access.  The two people who are the faces of MLB Pipeline are Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo.  The reason this list is important is that often times when watching games, the announcers will reference MLB Pipeline’s lists.

The Pittsburgh Pirates only had two prospects on the list this time last year in Austin Meadows and Mitch Keller.  This year the team doubled the number of prospects on the list.  Obviously, Austin Meadows is not on the list this year, so who did make it?
