Pittsburgh Pirates Minors: Projecting Triple-A Indy’s Roster

During the course of each MLB season, every team, the Pittsburgh Pirates included, in baseball will need their Triple-A roster for reinforcements at one point or another.

If there is a 2020 MLB season, the Pittsburgh Pirates, like every MLB team, will need to rely on their Triple-A roster throughout the season. Between injuries, poor performance, prospects forcing their way onto the MLB roster, etc., plenty of players that start the year at Triple-A level will still see time on a MLB roster.

For the Pirates, the question no become what will their Triple-A roster look like this season? While it is far from a guarantee there is a baseball season in 2020, we are going to act as if there will be in an effort to take a look at what the Triple-A Indianapolis roster could look like.

Who will be behind the dish for the Indians? Which players will make up their infield and outfield? Which pitchers will start games for them and come out of the bullpen for Indians manager Brian Esposito? Let’s take a stab at predicting a potential 2020 roster for the Indianapolis Indians. Well, a roster to start the season that is before it undergoes changes of its own.
