Another series is in the books, as is another loss for the Pittsburgh Pirates as their 2020 season continues to be off to a woeful start

No one expected the Pittsburgh Pirates to be a good team in 2020. They were universally picked to finish below .500. After all, it is a rebuilding year for the Bucs. That said, it is unlikely that anyone expected them to start this poorly.

This week, the Pittsburgh Pirates played a four-game series against the Minnesota Twins. The first two games of the series were played at Target Field in Minneapolis, while the series shifted to PNC Park for the final two games of the four-game set.

Unfortunately, things did not go well for the Pittsburgh Pirates in either series. After yet another series loss, the Bucs are now 0-4 in their first four series of the season.

As we do with series throughout the season, it is now time to grade out the performance of the starting rotation, bullpen and offense for the Pittsburgh Pirates in their series loss against the Twins. As always, we will begin our grades with the starting rotation.
