The Pittsburgh Pirates have had plenty of well known players play for them throughout their history. However, these three players spent a short amount of time with the Bucs and are best know for their tenures on other teams.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have had some of the most recognizable names in baseball history. Willie Stargell, Roberto Clemente, Ralph Kiner, and Honus Wagner are just a few of the most famous Pirate players ever. They were all best known for their long tenures with the Pittsburgh Pirates where they spent all or nearly their entire career with.
