In this article, I had the pleasure to sit down and talk to the voice of my generation’s Pittsburgh Pirates fans in the great Greg Brown!
Dreams, what exactly are they? Well, Webster’s dictionary defines a dream or dreams as “a strongly desired goal or purpose.” Over the past couple of years writing about the Pittsburgh Pirates I have been able to connect with a plethora of wonderful people in the baseball world, and I genuinely believe that I’ve learned something new each time. Some people I’ve met have given me so many stories that gave me chills, but my most recent interview achieved not just a dream come true but gave me goosebumps for days on end.
My guest is probably the voice of my generation of Pirates fans, and that man is Greg Brown or, to you Pirate fans, Brownie! Just hearing Greg Brown’s voice calling some of the most memorable games of my life makes me realize I’ve looked up to this man and aspire to be on his level one day!
