With the post-All-Star Break schedule set to kick off on Friday night for the Pittsburgh Pirates, here is a look at four goals for the organization after the break

At 7:05 PM ET on Friday night the Pittsburgh Pirates will kick off a three-game series at PNC Park against the New York Mets. Entering the series the Pirates are in last place in the National League Central as owners of a 34-56 record.

As for the Mets, they will entering the series owning a 47-40 record. This 47-40 record puts the Mets in first place in the National League East. This will be the second consecutive series played between the teams.

Last weekend, the Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Mets played a four-game series at Citi Field in New York. Including a Saturday afternoon doubleheader, the Pirates split the series with the Mets. This came after the Pirates rallied from a 5-0 1st inning hole to capture a 6-5 victory on Sunday afternoon.

With the second half of the season ready to kick off it is time to take a look at goals for the Pittsburgh Pirates following the All-Star Break. Today, we will take a look at four goals for the Pittsburgh Pirates throughout the rest of the season. We’ll kick it off with the upcoming trade deadline.
