With the calendar set to flip from 2021 to 2022 let’s take a look back at the best highlights for the Pittsburgh Pirates and their organization from this past year

On the surface 2021 may not have looked like a great year for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The stumbled throughout the 2021 season finishing with a 61-101 record. This was the team’s worst record sine 2010 when they went 57-105 and was the team’s third consecutive losing record, after they posted four winning seasons and three postseason berths in the previous six seasons.

Despite the on field struggles of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2021 there were still plenty of positives for the organization this past year. With the calendar set to flip from 2021 to 2022 we will take a look at some of the best moments for the Pirate organization in 2021.

While brighter days are ahead for the Pittsburgh Pirates, there were still moments across the organization from 2021 that deserve recognition. Today, we will take a look at some of those moments as we prepare to flip the calendar to 2022 and get closer to the brighter days that are ahead for the Pittsburgh Baseball Club.
