The lone losers on the night in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system was the High-A Greensboro Grasshoppers. Following a 12-6 loss against the Asheville Tourists the Grasshoppers are now 26-37 on the season.

Santiago Florez allowed a run on a hit, a walk and 4 strikeouts in 3 innings pitched. Michell Miliano and Wandi Montout struggled mightily. These two combined to allow 5 runs in 1/3 of an inning pitched. Garrett Leonard also struggled allowing 3 runs on 2 hit and 2 walks in 1 inning pitched.
At the top of the lineup Yoyner Fajardo was 2-for-4 with a walk and a RBI. Catcher Endy Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with his 10th double of the season and 2 RBI, while Fabricio Macias was 2-for-4 with a run scored and a walk.
The rest of the Grasshopper lineup struggled, though. Jacob Gonzalez was 1-for-5 with a RBI and Dariel Lopez was 2-for-5 with a solo home run. The rest of the Grasshopper lineup was just 2-for-14.
