Tough loss for Low-A Bradenton
The Pittsburgh Pirates Low-A affiliate the Bradenton Marauders suffered a 9-7 loss against the Dunedin Blue Jays on Thursday. With the loss, the Marauders fell to a poor 29-36 on the season.
In the loss, leadoff hitter Mike Jarvis was 0-for-4. Jase Bowen was 1-for-4 with his 12th double of the season, a walk and 2 runs scored. Tsung-Che Chang was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, to give him 11 on the season, a walk and 2 RBI.
First baseman Brenden Dixon was 1-for-3 with a pair of walks. Dixon scored 2 runs and drove in a run. Designated hitter Rodolfo Nolasco was 2-for-3 with a run scored, 2 RBI and a walk. Left fielder Jasiah Dixon was 1-for-4 with 2 RBI.
