There are plenty of roster moves coming for the Pittsburgh Pirates, so let’s take a stab at predicting the next three

Currently, the Pittsburgh Pirates have five players on a minor league rehab assignment. One day this week, outfielder Jake Marisnick will join that group of five to make it six players looking to complete a rehab assignment.

Monday afternoon the Pittsburgh Pirates made their first of multiple roster moves in the coming days when they activated utility man Josh VanMeter off the injured list. To make room for him on the active roster outfield Cal Mitchell was optioned to Triple-A.

The VanMeter move was the first of multiple for the Pirates, even though there are plenty of Pirate fans who would rather see young guys continue to play over veterans returning. Which is very understandable.

So, what moves could be next? Today we will take a look at predicting the next three roster moves that the Pittsburgh Pirates will make as players begin to return from the injured list.
