Five Pittsburgh Pirates prospects ranked on MLB Pipeline's Top 100 for 2024

Five Pittsburgh Pirates farmhands were included on the 2024 MLB Pipeline Top 100 prospects list on Friday.

LHP Anthony Solometo

After ffinishing off the 2023 season as the No. 84 prospect in all of baseball according to MLB Pipeline, Solometo made a slight rise to No. 82 overall. The 6-foot-5 lefthander is projected to make his MLB Debut this season.

After a strong debut in 2022, Solometo pitched for High-A Greensboro and Double-A Altoona in 2023, posting a 4-7 overall record and a 3.26 ERA in 110.1 innings pithced. He also kept opponents to a .207 batting average while recording 2.7:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
