THE ANGELS AT THE PLATE

A brief look at some of the regulars in the Angels' lineup:

2B Luis Rengifo

Rengifo has been very good at the plate for the Angels this season, hitting .330/.378/.462 with two home runs and 11 RBI on the season. In 91 at-bats he's kept his strikeouts to a minimum with just 15 though he isn't walking a ton with just six either. He has eight total extra base hits with six doubles and two home runs while driving in 11. He's also a threat on the base paths, a smart runner with nine stolen bases in 10 attempts.

LF Taylor Ward

Ward is currently hitting .279/.310/.485 this season with seven home runs and 24 RBI across 136 at-bats. He has seven home runs and 24 RBI this season, putting him halfway to his season numbers from a year ago when posted 14 home runs and 47 RBI.

RF Jo Adell

Adell may finally be clicking in year five with the Angels, hitting .261/.321/.507 with four home runs and 12 RBI in 69-at bats. He also has seven stolen bases but has been caught an additional five times.

C Logan O'Hoppe

A former top catching prospect, O'Hoppe is hitting .260/.317/.396 in 29 games this season with two home runs and 11 RBI. Last season, in 51 games he hit 14 home runs and drove in 29 while hitting .236/.296/.500.
