In an Inter League matchup against the Los Angeles Angels, the Pittsburgh Pirates found themselves facing off against one of the most electrifying players in the league, Shohei Ohtani. Known for his abilities both on the mound as a pitcher and at the plate as a batter, Ohtani has been a dominant force since his arrival in the Major Leagues. However, on this particular day, he would be challenged in an unexpected manner.

It was going to be interesting to see how the young bats in the Pittsburgh Pirates lineup would respond to facing the ace. Henry Davis showcased his impressive power-hitting abilities right from the start, sending a resounding message to Ohtani. In the 4th inning of the game, Davis managed to launch a deep home run off the superstar. It was a remarkable feat in itself, considering Ohtani's reputation and Davis just being a rookie.

But what Davis would do next made history. In the 6th innings, he stepped up to the plate once more and put Pittsburgh Pirates fans in awe. I know at least I was. Davis took Ohtani deep again for a second home run, becoming the first player ever to achieve such a feat against the talented pitcher in a single game. The home run can be seen on the next page.
