Low-A Bradenton blows out Dunedin
Following a 10-3 blowout victory over the Dunedin Blue Jays, the Low-A Bradenton Marauders are now 28-24 this season. Starting pitcher Owen Kellington allowed 2 runs on four hits, two walks, and three strikeouts in 3 innings pitched.
Brandan Bidos followed Kellington, striking a batter out in a 1-2-3 4th inning. Owen Sharts hit two batters and allowed a run on two hits in 2 innings pitched. Carlos Lomeli allowed a hit and struck out three in 2 scoreless innings pitched. Darvin Garcia finished things off with a strikeout in a 1-2-3 9th inning.
At the top of the Marauder lineup Enmanuel Terrero set the table. The fast rising outfield prospect was 3-for-4 with a walk, a triple, and three runs scored. Jack Brannigan continued his recent power surge going 3-for-6 with a pair of home runs, three runs scored, and six RBI.
Rodolfo Nolasco also got in on the home run fun. Nolasco hit his 5th home run of the season going 2-for-3 with a walk and three RBI. Shalin Polanco was 1-for-5, while catcher Geovanny Planchart and first baseman Jesus Castillo were both 1-for-4.
