Sunday afternoon the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians shutout the Toledo Mud Hens 7-0. With the win, the top farm club of the Pittsburgh Pirates are back to .500 on the season with a record of 28-28.
Lefty Kent Emanuel started for Indy and fired 6 scoreless inning. Emanuel allowed three hits, did not walk a batter, and struck out five. Carmen Mldozinski allowed a hit and struck a batter out in scoreless 7th inning. Eli Villalobos fired a scoreless 8th inning and Ryan Borucki struck a batter out in a scoreless 9th inning.
At the top of hte Indy lineup Nick Gonzales was 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Travis Swaggerty was 0-for-4. Jared Triolo stayed hot at the plate going 1-for-2 with a pair of walks, a tirple, and three runs scored. Aaron Shackelford went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair, catcher Grant Koh was 1-for-4 with a double.
