1-0 walk off victory for Low-A Bradenton

Thursday saw the Low-A Bradenton defeat the Jupiter Hammerheads 1-0. The lone run of the game was scored via a walk off single in the bottom of the 9th inning, improving the Marauders to 23-18 on the season.

Thomas Harrington started for the Marauders and continues to roll on the mound. The 2022 draft pick pitched 6 scoreless innings, allowing two hits, walking a batter and striking out three. He fired 44 of 68 pitches for strikes and lowered his ERA on the season to 2.77. Harrington now owns a 12:40 BB:K ratio in 39 innings pitched.

The always underrated Ryan Harbin followed Harrington with 2 scoreless, hitless innings pitched. Harbin walked a pair and struck out two as well. Yunior Thibo pitched the 9th inning, firing a 1-2-3 final inning.

Entering the bottom of the 9th inning the game was scoreless. Bradenton had just three hits entering the 9th inning, singles by the rehabbing Travis Swaggerty, Enmaneul Terrero, and Geovanny Planchart. After Jack Brannigan began the inning on second base and advanced on a ground out, Shalin Polanco singled him home to give the Marauders a 1-0 victory.
