Pitching recap

Carlson Reed started for the Pirates, allowing 2 runs on two hits and a strikeout in 1.2 innings pitched. Reed now owns a 9.00 ERA in two appearances in the FCL this season. Roelmy Garcia struck out the lone batter he faced to get the final out of the 2nd inning.

Continuing to work his way back from injury, Carlos Jimenez made his third rehab appearance with the FCL Pirates. Jimenez did not allow a hit in 2 innings pitched but did allow a run as he walked a batter, hit two, and struck out two.

Garrett McMillan took the ball to start the 5th inning. McMillan was only able to get one out, allowing 2 runs on three hits. Gilberto Alcala pitched 3.1 scoreless inning, allowing a hit, walking a batter, and striking out four.

Enmanuel De Los Santos faced one batter and struck them out. Peyton Stumbo pitched the 9th inning. The 2023 draft pick fired a 1-2-3 inning in his professional debut.
