Multi-home run game for Rodolfo Nolasco helps power Bradenton to victory

The Low-A Bradenton Marauders dispatched of the Daytona Tortugas by a score of 8-5 on Wednesday. With the win, the Marauders are now 42-34 on the season as they continue to have the best season of any Pirate minor league affiliate.

Enmanuel Terrero went 1-for-5 with a walk, double, and a run scored at the top of the Marauder lineup. Jack Brannigan went 1-for-3 with a double, he drew a pair of walks, drove in a run, and scored a run. Termarr Johnson was 0-for-3, but drew two walks and scored a run.

In his second game at the Low-A level, 18-year-old shortstop Yordany De Los Santos went 2-for-5. Center fielder Shalin Polanco was 1-for-4 with two walks, a run scored, and two RBI. Rodolfo Nolasco hit two home runs, giving him 10 on the season, while drawing a walk and driving in three runs.

Owen Kellington started for Bradenton, allowing 3 runs on four hits, two walks, a home run, and five strikeouts in 4 innings pitched. Julian Bosnic followed with 2 innings, allowing an unearned run on no hits, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Carlos Lomeli allowed five hits in 2 innings pitched, but recorded a strikeout and did not allow a run. Owen Sharts pitched the 9th inning, allowing a run on a hit, two walks, and two strikeouts while finishing off the game.
