Triple-A Indianapolis picked up a 1-run victory on Friday night. The Indians defeated the Memphis Redbirds by a score of 2-1. With the win, the top farm club of the Pittsburgh Pirates is now 40-44 this season.

J.C. Flowers allowed a hit and issued a walk while pitching a scoreless 1st inning. Jared Jones followed with 4 innings, allowing a run on a hit, two walks, and seven strikeouts. Jones has now issued 8 walks while striking out 24 in 19.1 innings pitched with Indy this season.
