Entering the 5th inning the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians trailed the St. Paul Saints 2-0. The top farm club of the Pittsburgh Pirates exploded for 5 runs in the 5th inning, which sparked a 15-3 victory to improve to 18-20 on the season.

Jared Triolo helped lead the offensvie explosion for Indy. Starting at third base, Triolo went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, and four RBI. Now that Triolo is healthy and starting to swing a hot bat, he could be in line for a MLB promotion sooner rather than later.
