Triple-A Indianapolis Indians
The Indianapolis Indians went 3-4 over the last week. The Indians split a four game series with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Then, the Louisville Bats came to town and took two of three over the weekend.

Players that stood out:
INF Pedro Florimon was called up by the Pirates on Wednesday.
RHP Wilfredo Boscan was returned by the Pirates again on Wednesday. He pitched on Saturday going five innings, allowing one run on three hits, walked two and struck out four while getting a no decision.
OF Gorkys Hernandez was sent back to Indianapolis on a rehab assignment on Wednesday. He has three hits in nine at bats since being sent down.
INF Brent Morel was called up on Monday by the Pirates and had at bats in three games but was Designated For Assignment on Saturday.
INF Justin Sellers was outrighted to the Indians from the Pirates this week once he returned from the 60 Day Disabled List.
OF Jose Tabata now batting .290 after getting five hits and one RBI in the past week.
INF Gift Ngoepe collected three hits, two walks and struck out six times. He is now batting .246.
INF Alen Hanson is now batting .279. He had four hits, one RBI, two walks, and two stolen bases.
RHP Angel Sanchez had a No Decision on Thursday. He allowed four hits, one earned run, walked two, and had four strikeouts in eight innings of work.
RHP Chris Volstad pitched twice last week. His first outing was a no decision on Tuesday while pitching seven innings and allowing two earned runs on seven hits, two walks and five strikeouts. His second outing was Sunday and he picked up the Win. He pitched seven innings and allowed just five hits and struck out two.
OF Willy Garcia is currently batting .235. He had five hits, one walk and struck out eight times.
C Elias Diaz saw action in four games. He collected seven hits, two walks and one strikeout. His average is now .274 for the year.
RHP Adrian Sampson continues to lead the team with 92 strikeouts. He picked up his eighth loss of the season on Wednesday while going 5.2 innings, allowing nine hits, five earned runs, two walks and five strikeouts. He leads the team with eight wins and eight losses.
RHP Blake Wood leads the team with twenty one saves. Wood saw action in three games. He picked up a win, a loss and a no decision. In each game, he pitched one inning.
RHP Radhames Liz suffered a loss in his only start. He went seven innings, allowing just two hits, walked four and struck out seven.

C Tony Sanchez had one hit, one RBI, and two walks. His average is now .220 for the season.
OF Keon Broxton had four hits, including a home run, six RBIs, three walks and three strikeouts. His average is now .217.
1B John Bowker is now batting .221 after collecting four hits and six strikeouts.
P Brad Lincoln saw action in one game. He threw two innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits and struck out one.

1B Hunter Morris returned from the Disabled List on Thursday.
RHP Casey Sadler remains on the Disabled List with a forearm strain.

A look at next week:
The Indians hit the road on Monday to begin a four game series in Columbus with the Clippers. Then the Indians return home for a three game series with the Charlotte Knights.
