Major League Baseball's newest alteration this spring has nothing to do with the pitch clock, nor is it about defenders blocking bases with their cleats. It's MLB Spring Breakout, and you can watch it live on Rum Bunter.

MLB Spring Breakout offers a chance for Pirates fans to watch their favorite young prospects on the field at the same time. Last year's No. 1 overall pick and MLB Pipeline's No. 3 prospect, Paul Skenes, will be part of the Pirates roster that will include players from A-Ball through the upper minor leagues.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will play host to the Baltimore Orioles on March 14th at 3:05 p.m. ET, and you can watch all the action right here in this article on Rum Bunter.

Skenes won't be the only top prospect on the hill for the Pirates. Anthony Solometo and Bubba Chandler will also see time on the bump for the Bucs. There is no three-batter minimum in effect for these games, so it's likely that the Pittsburgh faithful will be able to see all three of their Top 100 pitching prospects during the game agains the O's top young talent.

Jackson Holliday, the 2022 No. 1 overall pick, will be on the other side for the Orioles. Baltimore has some of the best young players in the game, so it'll be a true test for the top Pirates prospects. Among the position players on the Pirates roster are catcher Omar Alfonzo, infielders Termarr Johnson and Tsung-Che Cheng, as well as outfielder Tres Gonzalez.

The MLB Spring Breakout games will only last seven innings, and there are 15 other contests throughout Florida and Arizona during the four-day event.
