Baseball is back! Well, almost.
Pittsburgh Pirates spring training is well underway, and it won't be long before we can watch and listen to live baseball games again.
The Pirates released their spring training broadcast schedule Wednesday ahead of the 2025 Grapefruit League season, with SportsNet Pittsburgh set to televise 12 of Pittsburgh’s home games plus an additional seven games from the opposing team’s broadcast.
Six of the Pirates' spring training games will also be available as live webcasts at Pirates.com. The Pirates' flagship station on 93.7 The Fan, along with its sister stations 100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA, will also collectively broadcast 16 Grapefruit League games this spring.
Broadcast details for MLB's Spring Breakout prospect exhibition games are yet to be announced, but they were aired on MLB Network last season. The four-day event from March 13-16 features games between the best prospects in each farm system across Grapefruit and Cactus League ballparks. The Pirates prospects will take on the Philadelphia Phillies prospects March 14 at 1:05 p.m. ET in Clearwater, Fla.
